Dr. Caroline Barelle, CEO of Elasmogen, is shortlisted as one of 3 finalists in the Academic to Entrepreneur of the Year category.
This category recognises an individual who has demonstrated an enterprising approach to developing and delivering enterprise and entrepreneurial learning and skills, inspiring students and enabling them to realise their enterprise potential. The Academic to Entrepreneur of the Year is someone committed to continually developing their own skills and who champions enterprise education widely.
The final judging stage will be taking place on Tues 30 October at Strathclyde Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC) 99 George Street, G1 1RD, Glasgow. The judging panel this year includes, the Panel Chair Lucinda Bruce-Gardyne and Rob Catterson from Scottish Enterprise, Danielle Kelly from STV, Geoff Leask from Young Enterprise Scotland, Keith McDonald from the Scottish Funding Council and Cathy Craig from Entrepreneurial Scotland.
The winner will be announced at the Summit Awards and Celebration Dinner at SWG3, Glasgow on Thurs 22 November. It will be an inspiring event and a great opportunity to network with other ambitious business leaders.
